In the event a guideline becomes obsolete, it will be clearly marked as deprecated at the top of the guideline.  If the guideline has been superseded, the superseding guideline(s) will be listed in the deprecation message.  Additionally, the guideline will be tagged with "deprecated", and the date of deprecation and current publication cycle will be displayed in the deprecation message.  For instance:

This guideline has been deprecated.  It has been superseded by:

07/01/2013 -- 2nd Edition

 When a guideline has been deprecated, it will remain available for a single publication cycle at which point it will be moved to the VOID section.  This allows the community and vendors time to react to the changing guidelines.
